By accessing and using the "Ask the NP Mom" subscriber community or resources within, you ("User" or "Member") agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
The information, advice, and content shared within the "Ask the NP Mom" platform, including but not limited to written material, posts, comments, discussions, and resources, is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, a substitute for
professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Members are strongly encouraged to consult with their primary healthcare provider or a qualified pediatric professional regarding any medical concerns or treatment options for their children.
2. No Establishment of Provider-Patient Relationship
Participation in the "Ask the NP Mom" community does not establish a professional or healthcare provider-patient relationship. I, the owner and moderator of the community, am a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) but am not acting in a capacity as your personal healthcare provider within this platform. Any advice, feedback, or information shared should not be relied upon as medical care or treatment for any child or family.
3. Limitation of Liability
By using this platform, you agree that neither I, nor any associated individuals or organizations, will be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage, including but not limited to emotional distress, legal action, financial loss, or any other harm that may arise directly or indirectly from the use of this platform, the advice shared, or reliance on any content. This includes but is not limited to the misuse or misinterpretation of any advice provided.
4. Response Time
It is my intention to respond to questions submitted via the "Ask the NP Mom" platform within 24 hours of receipt, however, I do not guarantee a specific response time. Due to varying circumstances, including but not limited to workload, personal availability, or technical issues, responses may take longer than expected. I am not liable for any delay in response or failure to respond within a particular time frame.
5. No Guarantees or Outcomes
While the "Ask the NP Mom" community aims to provide helpful and informative resources, there are no guarantees regarding the outcomes of any advice or information shared. Medical and pediatric care outcomes can vary widely depending on individual circumstances, and the advice shared in the platform may not be suitable for all situations.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
While we strive to respect privacy, please note that participation in this community may involve sharing personal or sensitive information. The platform is not designed to offer confidential or private medical consultations. For any sensitive health information, Members are advised to consult directly with their healthcare providers in a private setting.
7. No Professional Medical Practice
I am a licensed Nurse Practitioner, but my role in this community is limited to offering general educational guidance and insights. I am not practicing medicine, and no advice shared in the community should be construed as professional medical advice or clinical practice. It is for the purpose of professional counseling and education.
8. Indemnification
By participating in the "Ask the NP Mom" community, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the owner of the platform from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in the platform, your reliance on any advice or information shared, or any violations of these Terms of Use.
9. Right to Modify Terms
I reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. Members will be notified of any material changes, and continued participation in the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Emergency Situations
This platform is not intended to address emergency or urgent medical situations. If you or your child are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical attention from a healthcare provider.
11. Content Moderation
You agree to use this platform in a respectful and responsible manner. Offensive, defamatory, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate content will be removed at the sole discretion of the platform owner. The platform owner is not responsible for any user-generated content, but reserves the right to moderate, remove, or report any posts that violate these Terms.

Links to third-party websites or resources are provided for informational purposes only. I do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites.
13. Intellectual Property

14. Limitations on Children's Health Information
